3 days of intensive tutoring that will propel your abilities forward.. enroll in the National Folk School and learn from some of the best musicians, singers and performers in contemporary and traditional folk style.

Description: The National Folk School continues the tradition of offering the finest teachers of traditional music for three days of intensive classes before the National Folk Festival.

The National Folk School runs for three days prior to the Festival. These classes are a great opportunity for intensive training with outstanding musicians. Instrument classes are not open to beginners, but are strictly for intermediate to advanced players. (You need to be able to perform a solo piece in front of an audience.) If you have any doubts as to your suitability for a particular class, please ring the Festival Office on 02 6262 4792 and discuss this with the Artistic Director.
