Presenter:
Replete Productions
Description:
Show 1: Make Believe: Children’s songs for grown ups
Doors 7:15pm | Show 7:30pm

Like a lovechild of Noni Hazlehurst and your drunken uncle, David Salter sings and slurs his way through a songbook of children’s classics in this adult’s only cabaret.

Collected over the years of school shows, kids’ parties, and substantial experience as a child himself, the silly naughty and bittersweet memories in ‘Make Believe’ will touch you in all the right places.

Written and performed by David Salter

Show 2: Manxious
Doors 8:45pm | Show 9:00pm

adjective.
1. feeling or showing anxiety, nervousness or hysteria while waiting for a man to reply to your text

Extremely relatable and hilarious… this self-deprecating cabaret pop-ode explores the extreme highs and lows of everyday anxieties. Armed with a snazzy three piece, you'll barely recognise these songs after Rai beats them into shape in this unstuffy performance. Cabaret at its rawest and freshest.

'Rachel commanded the stage and has an exceptionally strong and versatile voice. A gifted comedian and there were considerable laughs at her ingenious original material' – Michael Griffiths
